NPC-SS joins the world Campaign on Global media and Information literacy

Poverty Alfred, NPC-SS Program Coordinator during a live talk Show on Radio Miraya

 

 

Juba, October 26 –Poverty Alfred, NPC-SS Program Coordinator on Tuesday live on Radio Miraya discussing about the global media and information literacy as South Sudan joins the world in the campaign on the Global Media and Information Literacy week.

“The next question will be on how we as National Press club South Sudan will be part to contribute to the MIL”, said Poverty Alfred, NPC-SS Program Coordinator during the talk show on Radio Miraya on Tuesday

He further said through NPC-SS capacity building programs that are more diverse in the way “we plan it; we shall be able to complement on already started efforts to improve the MIL advocacy in our Country”.

 

Media and information Literacy when taken seriously it shall improve press freedom and freedom of expression and lower the country from the ladder of the press freedom index through increase of professionals in the field that will implement theory into practice despite the loop holes that may exist.
