Mr. Bullen Keny Yatta Wani is a veteran South Sudanese journalist. He had worked with various media organizations since 2000.

Educationally, he has a diploma in theology and obtained a number of certificates in the teaching profession. From 2002 to 2016, he attended various courses on election reporting, political reporting, human rights. He however visited countries in the region on a skill-sharing mission.

He previously served as a court observer and worked in other government offices as a communication officer and trainer of trainees on basic journalism skills and code of conduct.

He co-founded the Union of Journalists of South Sudan (UJOSS).

He visited Norway, Japan, and Turkey for journalism conferences where he seized the opportunities to drum up support for the development of the media industry in the world’s youngest nation. He speaks English and Arabic.
